The album is called: ‘Timo speelt kleine drumverhalen.’ which means: Timo plays small drum stories.

This album has been recorded by myself in an old church building in my hometown, Arnhem. The goal for this album was to make a drums-only album without making it a boring ‘drum-solo album’ in which the drummer shows his/her ability on the instrument, but nobody really knows what’s going on. I wanted to make little stories for every kind of listener to enjoy; this includes experienced instrumental-music-lovers but also if you consider yourself a newbie when it comes to listening to this kind of music!

All the drum stories are fully improvised, as short as possible and have different moods ranging from goofy/funny stories to melancholic/deep stories.
